but i see your point though and also wish there was more then one or two teams financially capable of competing at the highest level but that again is a failure of the teams to agree on anything. |

Abysmal
This is like watching the Williams Honda days, this car and driver have such a gigantic advantage I doubt either of them take much satisfaction from it. Its garbage pure and simple and I know plenty of people that have literally started doing other things now instead of watching a one man show. 3 |

Unless you start fixing the result in a sport there is always the opportunity to dominate. And so there should be.
This is why the FIA does all those other things we like to whinge about. Be careful what you wish for. For me all these rules we don't like, the strict technical regulations, DRS, tyres, are exactly what we deserve. We don't actually want a sport, because as soon as we get a perfectly normal sporting result, we hate it. We demand 'better'. Slightly melodramatic, I grant you, but all there is moaning and I want to moan about that. |

I agree with the first point (although it seems more like the TGF heyday to me) but not the second. I think Horner, Newey and co, and particularly Vettel are enjoying every moment of their huge superiority because, as with Williams, Ferrari and McLaren in the past, the one sure thing is that it will run out eventually. It's just a case of how long the others take to catch up.

It is, of course, what they've been trying to achieve. If they aren't enjoying it they could always try to be a bit worse so they can gain more satisfaction from it. It's an option.

You must be new to F1?

Not a great race, with only the strategies and a safety car ever likely to cheer it up. But still gave it a 7 because it looks nice. |

Singapore always has great potential to produce riveting racing and, better yet, unique results. But I decided to turn off the TV after the first 15 laps. And then I saw the results -
Another Vettel runaway, this time 30+ seconds over the opposition. Pathetically boring and I don't care to watch the entirety of the race. But the skyscraper/architecture viewing was indeed exceptional, and I'm a fan of the track, so I'll give it a 3. If the race was held at Shanghai Intl. Circuit, I'd give it a 1. |

Now for the first time in years the FIA actually made a track *IMPROVEMENT* (ive made it bold to highlight it because its such a rarity) by getting rid of that terrible chicane (in actually the same area of track as I was referring to earlier). So at least now it flows a bit better. |
