Gil deFerran and Kenny Brack will represent the champ car series in the 2001 International Race of NASCAR (uhhh, I mean Champions). deFerran will be a rookie to the tin tops as ths will be his first time to race and vehicle with a roof on it. Kenny Brack competed in 1999 with a 6th pace representing the IRL.

I am sure the NASCAR boys will team up as usual to show that they are the most dominant racers in the series especially racing tin tops on NASCAR tracks.

Gil and Kenny should get to work on their southern drawls. Maybe if the have Bubba deFerran and Billy Joe Brack on their fire suits they may have a chance.
I still think they should make some of those tin tops drivers squeeze into an Indy Lights or Formula Atlantic car and race on a road course.

Ah let em race. Gil and Kenny will no doubt be getting their pockets lined, whether they win lose or draw...so let the action begin!

when does this farce take place? I hope it is not at any time when getting injured in it will do real harm to Gil's championship run in Real Cars.

I know this is one of Penske's pet projects but I think personally that Gil is nutz to have anything to do with it.
