Shielded efi wires

A couple of questions shielding against emi for cam, crank and knock sensors.

How close to the connector at the ecu and the sensor should shielding extend to?

Are there any special requirements for a shielded with a thru bulkhead connector? How is the signal quality affected when you have to unwrap the cable and run it through a bulkhead fitting?

The two wires from the sensors (signal and ground) or three (5 volt feed) create a loop, which acts as antenna to pick up magnetic fields. To avoid that, either use shielded wire or simply twist the wires together. Each twist creates a smaller loop, which picks up less of that noise, but also adjacent loops pick up a signal that’s inverted from the loop before. This way the induced noise voltages in each loop cancel each other.

Hi,

When we build our wiring loom, we made like this. We removed sheld around 30mm before connector (you can see pair of white and black wire without shield):
