Where to for Nick Percat?

Bathurst winner, Clipsal winner, out of contract driver with support/connections at Holden.

Where to for 2017 & beyond?

Story Here suggests he is looking locally & internationally for a 2017 and beyond ride..

Story Here details some of the frustrations Mr Percat has with LDM as a small team with a small budget.

While the LDM team itself wants Mr Percat to stay Story Here

Is Mr Percat worthy of a seat at a better team, and where might he end up?

Was carried to a Bathurst win 5 years ago.

Jagged a 3rd at Bathurst 2 years ago.

Podium at SMP 2 years ago.

Jagged a Clipsal win this year.

Not a whole lot else going on. Not known for car setup ability, but known to be rather high maintenance in the pit garage. In my opinion, this doesn't make him all that desirable at all.

He may be mates with DJ Walky, and Holden's Simon McNamara, but I can't see him straying too far from the Holden/Walkinshaw path unless he plays in some other sandpit.

I think that's a little unfair, I think he has the talent.

I wonder if Brighty will retire and we see Nick in a BOC/Coates car. Some synergies there I would have thought.

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

He does have some talent but I'd take Scott Pye over him any day of the week. Pye won't dis your team if the car is a dog.

Yes, he comes across, as an arrogant, little, self entitled prick. But, then again, quite a few drivers have that attribute.
He does have a bit of talent. I think he just needs some one to point out to him the areas he needs to brush up on. I know of at least one of his benefactors who isn't too pleased with his attitude.

Agree 100%. I hope Pye finally gets a break and is rewarded with stability for just getting on with the job and not complaining.

It's hard to judge his outright pace in an LDM car however, no disrespect to the team and putting attitude aside for a minute. I feel like he could go well at BJR.
