Sad news about Mike Hewland's passing. A true legend of British motorsport engineering. RIP.

I've changed Mk9 ratios many a time. If I can do it anyone can.

Hewland also made some of the best kart racing engines to come out of UK during the late 1970s and early 1980s - the Hewland Arrow dominating the 100cc Britain class around then.

I just clocked this on the Beeb website. At least Duckworth made the news. Yet Mike was every bit as important for the racing world in the 60s and 70s, and those 'boxes still are!
Sad to hear the news. Another Great one gone.
