prius and honda GT300 hybrid cars have a conventional thermal engine + hybrid system, nissan leaf is a 100% electric car.

I saw a racing version of the Leaf (don't know if it is same chassis) last year, and it looks pretty good in person.

I competed in the Leaf NISMO RC at Crystal Palace in May, awesome machine to drive in anger but not GT300 pace, though the chassis is very similar to the new mother chassis (very similar indeed). This is probably just a demo run

super GT association agreed to adapt to DTM specs in future, only honda will use some special homologation.

I don't think they agreed to anything yet. Only to link their series' together. For everything the Japanese do I sure hope they don't agree to 'spec' GT500's. The differences to the cars now is a big attraction.

Really hope, they won't adopt common rules. Standard chassis and developing ban will ruin the championship. It's all about difference in many areas. It's interesting even with all that awful ballast rules (well, a little bit because of it).
