Psychoman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
New Detroit Street Circuit

Start-finish straight going alongside Ford Field (that big white box on the northern end of the circuit, zigzags down to Campus Martius Park (actually that corner is slightly inaccurate, see site plan), then a blast along Woodward Avenue, onto the Grand Circus Park corner, then around Comerica Park on Montcalm back onto the pitstraight.

It seems like the track direction should be reversed, with the Woodward Avenue straight ending at the Campus Martius hairpin.

I was starting to think that--would be a VERY cool spectator point. I just tend to think clockwise when I jot down road/street courses. Such happens when it's late and I'm thinking

Missed this thread. I like the track, but feel that it is quite simple. (I'm not saying that that is a bad thing).

Hehe... Simpler=faster, and street circuits I feel have a bad rap for being slow (or maybe it's just Detroit's street circuits, between downtown in the 80s and Belle "car-and-a-half-wide" Isle in the 90s ). I actually found the other day the MSPaint file where I first jotted down designs for the track (had planned on putting it into GeneRally)... oodles of different combinations, but interestingly that curve north of the stadiums (my favorite part of the above track) was never part of it!
