Avesco, What the hell is going on?
I am having trouble understanding why some teams are running 5 cars under 1 franchise when as little as 18 months ago John Briggs was complaining that he would have to buy anothe franchise to run 2 more cars. From what i understode it was a maximum of 2 cars per franchise. There are apparntly no new frnachise agreements until next year so is Cochrane changing the rules as he goes or do I have it wrong?

I believe that the restrictions on cars per franchise have been changed. Depending on who you listen to, Level 1 Franchises can now run limitless cars on a franchise, or all Levels can run limitless cars.... The answer is who knows, really....

Briggs purchased the Fred Gibson franchise - which is what is causig all the problems with Lowndes having to pre-qualify.
