TWPC 2009 F2 Predictions - R01 Valencia RESULTS
Robert Wickens was the man to beat in the opening rounds of Formula 2. He won all, both qualies and both races! With this, F2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition opens its maiden season with these results:
Results of the Weekend - Formula 2 Round # 1 Valencia (30-31/05/2009) Race 1 (30/05/2009) Poleman = Robert Wickens Winner = Robert Wickens 2nd place = Carlos Iaconelli 3rd place = Kazim Vasiliauskas 4th place = Mikhail Aleshin 5th place = Julien Jousse 6th place = Mirko Bortolotti 7th place = Henry Surtees 8th place = Alex Brundle Race 2 (31/05/2009) Poleman = Robert Wickens Winner = Robert Wickens 2nd place = Mirko Bortolotti 3rd place = Philipp Eng 4th place = Andy Soucek 5th place = Nicola De Marco 6th place = Mikhail Aleshin 7th place = Edoardo Piscopo 8th place = Carlos Iaconelli Results and Standings of the F2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition after Round # 1 Valencia (31/05/2009) 1 - 14 points = WSR Fan (TT) 2 - 13 points = Mekola (CB) 3 - 12 points = Albeckinho (TT), Alex K (TT), runshaw (TT) 6 - 11 points = JB-F1 (GL), kerrmanningjarv (TT), melendi (TH) 9 - 10 points = Bleu (TT), pericu (TT), sauber11 (TT), Sev (TT) 13 - 8 points = brucejouanny (TT) 14 - 7 points = GroupOfOne (TT) 15 - 6 points = Posti (CB) 16 - 3 points = kamikaze666 (CB) 17 - 2 points = Sidney Watkins (CB) Forum Standings after 1st round (Valencia - 31/05/2009) 1º - Ten-Tenths.com Forum - 50 points 2º - ClubF1.es Forum - 24 points 3º - GlobalF1.net Forum - 11 points 3º - Thef1.com Actuality Forum - 11 points Bravo to WSR Fan (TT), the first winner of the season and current leader! A slight mention to me; I've entered Wickens-Bortolotti as the first two of Race 2 correctly. Alas, congratulations to all 18 concursants for the interest they showed in this new Competition! On Forums Championship, is no surprise to see Ten-Tenths at the lead, after their overwhelming number of entries compared to their rival forums. Observations: R00 Championship: - melendi (TN): Put Wickens and Aleshin for the same 5th place, so that part of his prediction wasn't valid. - chunterer (TT): posted predictions for Championship Round only. R01 Shanghai: - kamikaze666 (CB): Put Aleshin twice (1st and 4th) on his R2 predictions, so these parts weren't valid for this round. You could check your predictions at: http://perso.wanadoo.es/gp2twpc/2009F2TWPC.zip I thank again all concursants for their interest in the Competition, as some users stated during the initial rounds. We'll see again with the next round, about the next race that will be at Brno next June 20th and 21nd. ¡To the Bohemian lands! Wow, I thought I'd had a good round, but I wasn't expecting a win!
Thanks Mekola |
