markjtaylor should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What a great thread, I have just started racing with The Classic Touring Car Racing Club, great experince, heaps of fun. When I was 14, I raced cycles, CP was a regular venue, every Tuesday evening. I even had a win there, still got the medal.
Regarding the run off areas, it was dangerous on a bike, never mind a race car!!!!
Really look forward to getting back there some time, organisers must be carefull not to turn the occasion into a mini Goodwood !!

I was sent this link earlier, hadn't seen the video before. CP news coverage starts at about 4:15 or scroll down for stills. http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=7340

Hope to see some of you there at the weekend for the sprint? [There's another topic on here in the sprint and hillclimb forum, or see http://www.motorsportatthepalace.co.uk]

One from my archives - Mike Beuttler solves the usual parking problem at the final 1972 Whitsun meeting.
