mickj should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
colin hyams

Colin Hymas I believe is in England,I read that he owns or owned a car seat restoration business. I read it in 1 of the Classic car magazines in the last 4 yrs or so. He owned 1 of the first Ford GT 40's the arrived in Australia in the 60's.I have a photo of it somewhere. He also owned Luna Park amusement park in Melbourne. Ray Bell I think there is a Luna Park in Sydney ??

You speak of Colin Hyams of Lola T190/2 fame, and Elfin Mallala?

Yes, there is a Luna Park in Sydney... or their was... political hot potato, death scene, picturesque under the Harbour Bridge, pickup place in my youth... all of that. Just Across the Bridge and Ju-u-st For Fun was the advertising catchcry.

He was a bit tardy, very average Melbourne driver...
