Just before this thread is probably put to bed, anybody in the UK who is disappointed that the BBC won't be showing GP2, even though they have the rights, please could you add to the comments on this BBC blog:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/f1mole/20...star-of-f.html The Beeb generally pay attention to comments on their blog's, so if there's enough interest we might be able to get them to show this season live (at least) on the net, as well as the other supports hopefully.

Cool, thanks. And it's a good idea to keep this open actually, especially as it looks like we'll be seeing a lot of tooing and throwing this season.
EDIT: After thinking about this it might also be beneficial for all international GP2 fans to lend their support to this campaign, as, if the BBC do show it, you'll be able to watch GP2 live with no adverts via proxies on-line. Obviously though, don't say that your not from the UK if you do comment.  You'd be helping yourself's and us, as us license fee payers will be getting more action for our dosh, and you lot get to see GP2 live for free.

I read that Trident is in deep trouble and may not survive until the end of the season. Even their participation in Istanbul is in jeopardy.

That would be good to see. Carroll joined FMSI at Istanbul last year and stuck it 3rd on the grid. Would be interesting to see what he could do with a DPR machine!
