Do you think the series will establish itself this year and which of the drivers do you reckon are worth watching?

not too understand your defination on establish but FRD promote the series
themselves with Zhuhai circuit co-operateion help.

As the current list so far I think Beche,Swedish Duo and Kuroda are the man to
watch, however I am waiting for more decent drivers come in

By establish I mean become a long term part of the Asian single seater scene.

I guess the advent of GP2 Asia will give these guys something to aim for there?

A racing 'ladder' appears to be developing for people do progress their careers in Asia rather than just having to leave and come to Europe?

I think they have become a asian single seater sence as they are 'oldest'
single seater series so far(they started in 2002 as FBMW started on 2003).
Franky Cheng Cong Fu also start his single seat career overhere.

seems Asian GP2 not a next destination to them but JF3 national class is.
Those teams need money which they have.

for ladder series I think that is a pity hard job as few single seater racers
overhere. You could renfrence on V6 Asia that every races only got 11-12
cars and run out budget in mid-season is usual case.We still have long path
to go.

China Formula Open incorporates two single seater racing series, including Formula West (威速方程式) and Formula Renault (雷諾方程式) for the development of formula racing drivers in China. Driver development now begins from Karting to formula single seaters and finally Formula One

for the drivers mentioned above mainly are first trial in FRenault(or single seater) or gentleman racers(like Tjia). That's the main reason Kuroda can faster than others so much.

I'm confused... there will be 2 Asian Formula Renault's in 2008? Formula Renault Asia 2.0 and Asian Formula Renault Challenge?

correct one...and Garage speculation inside Zhuhai circuit say that almost all teams prefer FR Asia 2.0 than AFR , except FRD themselves.
