Historic Cars Welcome At Walter Hayes Trophy Meeting
Historic cars are welcome to compete at the BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy meeting at Silverstone......
The British Racing Drivers' Club will be holding two Allcomers Races for Sports and Saloon cars at the Walter Hayes Trophy meeting on the weekend November 4-6th. The races will take place around the Silverstone National Circuit, and Entry Forms are available from the BRDC now. FRIDAY 4th NOVEMBER SRC FRIDAY SHOOTOUT 15 minute qualifying 12 lap race Entry Fee: £100 SATURDAY 5th NOVEMBER 8 CLUBS ALLCOMERS RACE 15 minute qualifying Two 10 lap races Entry Fee: £160 If it's not a single-seater then it is eligible. Simple as that. These are traditional end-of-season Allcomers Races that form part of the prestigious Walter Hayes Trophy weekend. The 8 Clubs races will be recorded for SKY Television. Only 34 cars can start each race, so entry space is limited. Enter now to avoid disappointment. Contact: James.Beckett@brdc.co.uk for further details and Entry Forms. A non-championship race for BRDC Historic Sportscars will also take place. The BRDC Historic Sportscars will race on Sunday 6th November. |

please come join us, all being well it'll be my sons first meeting as well . . .at the ripe old age of 6 weeks !!! |

Ah good one Zef will get to go head to head! Being Silverstone I will probably actually have some help with me this time, Gerry Cain has threatened to crew for me!

Zoiks ! I think you might have the edge in a straight line !!!
I'd love to know what we're racing with and when, we have a very young helper to plan for now. . . .Digs near Silverstone that don't mind 6-7 week old babies anyone !??? |

They go surprisingly well around the twisty bits as well. Apart from a bit of hopefully sortable understeer.
