Single File Restarts back at Indy 500
Looks like Indycar will be doing away with the double file restarts at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indy 500. They will go back to single file. The danger in Turn 1 was the primary factor.

Also single file at Texas, Fontana; but keeping them for the shorter ovals.

Thats a shame
From the stands at Indy last year when these double-file restarts were introduced, they were great. 'Danger at Turn 1' is a poor excuse, how many restart accidents were there at turn 1 last year, one? |

Well, I would want single file restarts for all races, so it's a step in the right direction.

Single file restarts will also be used at Texas Motor Speedway and Auto Club Speedway.
