Very interesting to see that DSC have pictures of the new Lola LMP1/2 in the wind tunnel. Even better, European and US teams are in discussions with them.

Lola also confirm the long running rumour that the B160 can be fitted with an update kit, to run in LMP2.

The Lucchini will made it's debut at Spa.

Thanks for that link.

I had an e-mail from NASAMAX and they said they expect to extract another 2 seconds from the car this year. That would put them around the pace of the Dallara and MG.

They expect to gain more time with an uncompromised, clean sheet desing in 2006.

What a manufactuer like Audi or Porsche could achieve, who knows.

On the ALMS board it is mentioned that Yves Courage said they had apparently sold 3 C65 chassis to LMES teams for 2005.

Any news on this?

The latest news on Courage is that a European team, who have competed at Le Mans but not in the LMES, have bought 2 C65's. They will run them in the 2005 LMES and at Le Mans. Epsilon should also run one car in the 2005 LMES.

Courage, as we already know, will run an LMP1 in 2005.

Im not holding my breath for the Panhards. It would be great for the ALMS if all the small LMP teams stepped up to the new LMP2 spec car's.

A couple Courages, a Luchhini or 2 and maybe some Mazdas and Lolas... I might just have to take the redeye to Mosport next year!

Four LMP2s: Courage C65, Luchini LMP2, Lola B05/40 and this new Pilbeam.

Five if you count the Panhard. Looking very good for this class, let's hope LMP1 follows the example.
