Chimera should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Spotted some info on that GT-R

http://www.rpmvision.nl/en/news/298/...leash-gt-r-gt3

There's another GT3 round later here in the Netherlands at Zandvoort, would be sweet to see this thing roam by!

Well the drivers have changed to Brabs and Westbrook. Good pairing of both experience and speed. Wonder if either are of them have helped developed the car?

What kind of engine?
The same of GT1, or biturbo V6?

I hope this race is as good as Monza or Spain because other than the Spa 24h which was dominated by the evil Audi Galactic Empire Blancpain has produced some of, if not the best sports car racing I have seen this year.

Should be even better with the Mclaren brigade, and despite their Spa 24h I expect quite a bit from them.

One of our members on here (could've been Japanese Samurai) posted a while back that they had seen underbonnet photos and it was the V6 production engine albeit modified. The car looks brilliant in that dark blue by the way.

Why is this weekend in Rhino's Leipert Motorsport (Tielemans/Vähämäki/Vollmair) another car not involved in Magny-Cours?

Maybe they ran out of money?

At Red Bull ring, the Leipert Lamborghini didn't seem to have any issues. Neither at Spa, despite the crash. Last time they ran 2 cars seems to have been at Navarra, back in early July.

On another note, interesting First Practice with the Bartel's Vita4One Ferrari in the lead, followed by the 2 Audis at the front of the championship.
The Westbrook/Brabham Nissan ended up in 11th, not bad. The McLaren's? 19th and 21st. Pierre Kaffer is in the car with Christodoulou and Klaas Hummel. Strange that Chris Goodwin ain't there.
It was raining though.

Yes, timing has finally started working, http://static.sportresult.com/federa...lass=Blancpain and for the best live stream go to the GT1 website and click on GT1 TV, then go to Blancpain Live.

Great race so far.

It was very entertaining. Good to see the Marc VDS BMW Z4 winning it for the first time. The Z4 held out without any issues.
And the Westbrook-Brabham Nissan in 8th!

The McLaren had a few mechanical issues again, and floundered in the back once more.

race debut of GT-R, 6th of PRO class and 8th overall, such an amazing race rythm, better than other more GT3 expert teams and already better developed car! still a delusion from mclaren cars

it was quite funny seeing that. It got smacked and, boom, there goes the hood.
You don't see something like that so often.
Basically ruined their race.

Ortelli was a bit too hot a few times there! Not really something we're used to seeing from him and especially when there's a title to fight for. Or was.
