Mundy was doing pretty well all day, then in Div1 final ended up in the tyre wall (pushed?). The race was red flagged but he was allowed to take the restart after repairing the car. Absolutely flew off the line and was leading comforstably when he went straight on at the elbow and into the gravel - looks like the steering bust. A real shame to see him go out like that.
Driver of the day for me was Jamie Bird, even when his car wasn't the quickest out there he was able to defend his place. In the super national final he was pretty much flawless. (nice flames too). |

I agree, Bird and Clark too. Tapscott was pretty untouchable but didn't seem like he had much competition.
I saw Mundy's accident I think he might have got a push but it was hard to tell viewing from the hairpin! |

I agree BERTMK2 they were some lovely flames
out of all three clios and yes shame about steve. |
