Good point, Hohenthal is/was fairly highly rated but it's all gone a bit pear shaped since his FR successes? His driving has been questionable this year too....

If Bernie wants a F1 race in Russia, we might sooner or later find Aleshin on the F1 grid.

Petrov will have already covered that one off by the time Russia has a race. I just don't think Aleshin is a star. Even though he's second in the championship I reckon Red Bull will much sooner go for Bortolotti or Wickens

Aleshin seems to have the best head at the moment, and where Wickens is quicker on his day, he seems to be distracted/influenced to much by events out of his control. Bortolotti is just inconsistent.

Not being rude, but this is simply rubbish! Okay Soucek had a good spell in GP2, especially considering the teams he was with, but it wasn't until his performances in F2 that anyone paid attention. The GP2 experience does back up this year in F2, but for sure if he does make it - and it's quite a big if - it will be on the back of his season in F2 this year.

I think it's fair to say that if he did get a chance it would be down to this season and not his GP2 past.

Aleshin definitely is the most consistent of the three, but Wickens and Bortolotti have more star talent. Wickens was pretty unlucky in World Series last year and Mirko is quick - just probably needs another season to get the consistency together.

Kazim does look like a great prospect and maybe Eng?
