Es Nes should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
motogp and 7 speed gearboxes

does anyone think they will happen anytime soon? i would think aprilia might take one on first with its f1 style head. maybe it could help their current bike?

thats an interesting idea. Do you think it would be a lower gear to get them off the line faster? or higher top speed? Most straights aren't that long thou' are they?

It does make me wonder when someone will use programable gear changes like they do in F1.

it really doesnt matter how long the straights are but more so on the powerband. the smaller the powerband, the more gears it would need to optimises the power it makes.

as for as auto shifters, i hope never. clutchless gear shifting is enough good enough for me. no traction controll or launch controll or any of the sillyness please.

Automation...

Pah than all the fun will go away!
Why make anything unrideable and then adjust it with electronics afterwards???
Sounds like a bad idea to me, right now it is who is the best to control the bike.
F1 is also the most boring motorsport ever frankly.
