The Viper was caught up in a crash w/ Davison & Calvert in Turn 4 in race 1, hence the silver nose on Sunday. He did get a podium in race 2, though.

As for the NSX, I haven't seen any times, and the lap it turned on Saturday was at FCY speed, so it hard to judge it's capabilities.

I think you meant to write "...hence the black nose on Sunday." As per the photo above!

LOL, yeah, it was that sort of silvery grayish black color that bare carbon is.
