Hmm that's. Not good I was getting stressed changing gears and the main shaft . The new reverse gear was 1 mm wider than original . I could not get my head around it . Then having an audience of spectators some of which were experts on Hewland gear boxes . Anyway just stopped 50 mikes from Copenhagen for the night . The locals all seem miserable

You look very calm on the video.
May be you're in Jutland right now. If there's a country in Europ where good food can be found, Denmark is the one! Not cheap though. You could find kwossonts I guess and French wine.

50 Mikes from Copenhagen?

Mike Bell
Mike Harte

Struggling now...

Good to see proper repairs still working rather than replacement. Have a great weekend. Look up my friend Nikolaj Mortensen who is running the Sixty Fivers race. Started off as an MG Midget racer of course.

Iain one step ahead as usual. We caught 19.15 from Dover yesterday and overnighted just east of Brussels. Lost 6th gear outside Bremen today - Fiat workshop estimate 3+ days to fix so we carrying on with just 5. Now on campsite near Danish border and have polished off spag bol and a good red. ETA Copenhagen 13.00

Blimey what a tale of woe from you two. And you haven't even started racing yet! Stay safe and hope you all get back OK.

Well done. What with Silystone rain last w/end, you should be well prepared for Nurburgring next...

Maybe Italy would have been better choice. Or perhaps not- 42 degrees C......

Kwossons! If you have time enough you can have a look to Tivoli Garden what a charming place. I wonder what can give a Cortina battle with Kristensen and Villeneuve involved…
