Age of Current V8 Supercar Chassis

Looking over the current V8Supercar chassis, would it be correct that the DJR cars would be the oldest in the field?
Whilst the other teams have been seemingly getting new cars regularly, DJR continues with the old ones.
Does anyone have an actual list of how old each chassis is, might make an interesting comparison between teams.

This site could help you, if you had that sort of cash lying around.

6. Davison FPR1010 debut mid 2011
7. T. Kelly KR-01 debut early 2010
8. Bright WR 011 debut mid 2010

15. R. Kelly KR-02 debut early 2011
17. Johnson T8-0016 debut early 2009
18. Moffat T8-0018 debut early 2009
19. Webb T8-0029 debut early 2012
Kulwicki debut early 2009 (used for the AGP)
21. Wall WR 008 debut mid 2008
22. Courtney WR 012? debut mid 2010
30. Douglas T8-0024 debut early 2010
33. Premat GRM VE12 debut mid 2010
34. Caruso GRM VE13 debut mid 2011
47. Slade SBR FG05 debut early 2012
49. Owen T8-0015 debut early 2009

Ouch I knew his site was coming, but 400 clams is a bit rich for the casual observer who might look at it occasionally (sorry Noonz)

Correct...... It's gonna be a real success asking for that sort of money..... Not.

Is he brain dead? I understand Noonan has put a ****load of time into the database over a long period of time..... But geez... Wake up and smell the flowers, it's not something that will attract a large subscriber base.

$400 for 12 months
What planet is he on

"exactly the same as what the two-volume book would have cost"
Again, on what planet!

He clearly has no idea. He might sell one or two at $400 each.
At $40 each he might sell hundreds and actually make some money. But then a lot of his content would be pirated.
At $4 each (and a bit of exposure) he'd get probably every V8 SuperCar fan signing up, and then some, and probably make a killing!
Not to mentiong the advertising dollar potential the site would then generate!

Do V8 Supercars still produce the Insiders Guide Technical Analysis book? I've got the 2006 version, about 140 pages, interesting read, from memory it was about $20.

Thanks all, be interesting to look at the age of the chassis as to where it is in the championship, and see if there are any general trends. (One would think newer cars would be better placed, but this may not be the case.)

Hmm, $400 is a bit steep but yet I can't talk since I recently ordered a $330 Star Trek uniform tunic.

Yeah, but you'll have that forever..... (or until you sell it to some other trekkie?)

I'm sure you wouldn't have paid that much to only rent it for 12 months?

A line from a great Aussie movie sums this up-

"Four Hundred Bucks"

Tell him he's dreaming.

The only person who I can see handing over $400 for this is someone buying an old V8 Supercar and wants to check/confirm it's history. $400 on a $80,000+ outlay is chicken feed, but the average punter ain't going to shell out that kind of $'s for something that 80% is probably here... http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67601

A tie up with a magazine subscription would have been a far better choice.
'Australian Muscle Car' or 'Real Race Cars' perhaps???

Even $4 for a 1 month or week subscription would have got quite a few signing up.

Maybe a $400 book would have been better... Wait 6 months and pick it up in the clearance bin

I've got that book too, nearly worn the print off the pages. I wish they would do one say every 3 years or so. Hell I'd probably pay 400 clams for that, because it gives info I can use in other forms of car racing.

I was going to subscribe to Noonz site until I found out it was $400. Bugger that. Knock a zero off the end and I might think about it.
