RIP Racetime
A bit saddened yesterday to see that Stephen Rowe (aka Racetime) passed away. I think he used to be a regular poster on here

I knew Stephen had been ill for quite some time.
Very sad Racetime was a majot innovation to timing systems in this country, and Stephen was absolutely passionate about technical innovation to improve the recording of results, passionate about the sport itself, and the people within it. |

Really sad news.
His contributions to this forum back in the day were must read and the forum was always the poorer from when he left here, and the motorsport world was richer for his involvement, and is now poorer for his passing. |

Stephen seemed to be incredibly passionate in all that he did. A man on the cutting edge in his time. I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him.
Rest easy, Stephen - your chequered flag has fallen |

Thank you Trevor for the news.
Had many conversations (read arguments) with Stephen when I was a young hot headed official and he the wise old owl putting me back in my place. Was passionate but knew his stuff. Did amazing work the Human Powered Vehicle endurance series too. Condolences to his family. |
