June Clubnight

Our June clubnight will be on 11th June in the White Horse pub in Silverstone village. Our guests for the evening will be a group of Australian drivers who are in the UK for a few months. These drivers shipped 9 cars from Austalia to the UK in a container and are taking in quite a few historic races whilst in the UK.

Should be a different kind of evening, please come along and support our clubnights, all marshals are welcome.

I have had confirmation this morning that everthing is fine for this evening. Still not sure how many of the drivers are coming but I know it is a minimum of 2.

Sorry I missed it but had friend over from N Ireland so was busy. How did it go?

Had 3 Australians and 1 British driver (Bob Juggins), I`m sure Bob could have done an evening all by himself. The 3 Australian drivers had all driven a variety of cars but have all ended up in historics. You can view what they are doing by looking at the Western Australian Racing Museum website.

Absolutely excellent night - Nina and I really enjoyed it. THe drivers were very approachable and were also really interested in us as a group, so it sort of turned into a general chit chat at the end which was just really good.

Thanks to the organisers and a big thank you to the 4 drivers. Really good humourous night!
