Meta4, I think If Beche, was racing in AFR, he will win every races, last year he was a lot slower than the main front runners,Saarinen and Inperatori but he was for sure quicker than Kato....So my point is F-Asia 2.0 drivers level is better than AFR this year

I agree on this but still the level of FR2.0 Asia is not even as the one of AFR in the previous seasons
Just to remind you , here is FRV6 Thread |

i can ask a lot of questio but afr isnt a steping stone for asia frv6.
v6 should join the group of asian young and quick driver with no money to keep racing in europe and japan. |

very nice race 2. the championsip got some great teams and drivers, a fantastic, frankly groundbreaking of track action, and spectacular deeply theatric moments. missing some cars in the grid just it. kevin chen from taiwan was spectacular but bamber and grunwell are in gp2 asia level. ebrahim ais frankyl fanstastic and i was almost expecting it to be bad because i can't believe he would place like that could be so consistently good. next year with champ cars coming to replace this v6 the party foes to heaven.

Bamber was very fast all weekend and won by huge gap. TaraDTM had a lot of issue with cars at Sentul with Armaan car having gear problems in race 2 and Charlez having to race all event with cracked tub and electrics problem with engine misfiring so bad in race 2 and engine only run on 4 cylinders. His car also miss most of the practices, qualifying and warm-up as the team constantly trying to find where the problem was in the car but only found on sunday morning before grand race. Armaan and Charlez are both are as fast as Bamber and Grunwell as the first rounds have shown but Taradtm have had 2 very bad events in a row now with many car problems and bad luck two events in a row on some of their cars. Hope they can get good luck and sort car problems as this year championship has not many cars but these 4 drivers could really be having very close fights every race if the tara team had not so much bad luck. Ex-german F3 race winner Briuns also looked very fast and aggressive but had gear problem also in race 2 so good to see new driver in series so now 5 fast drivers can fight if the teams can sort problems.
they want to change chassis as this car has non-stop problem and not many spare parts but the champ car chassis i think wont happen next year but there is talks of them using another top open wheel car for next year- formula nippon. But nothing confirm yet i think just talking still and trying to find engine solution to suit. |

shake your coconuts. champ cars or fnippon will replace the v6 i reckon. renault sport is issuing afos for racing the series bythemselves and afos needs a new product to increase the sells.

you shall follow the formula renault 2000 topic to understand how bad goes renault sport in asia. they are empowered to root out and fairly investigate all instances of waste, inefficiencies, fraud and corruption. i tell you the story i hear in afos zhuhai race last year but you could query the team managers of the teams of v6 championsip.
afos bought the v6 from renault sport cause nobody in the world wanted the cars and after renault sport sent the rest of spare parts to afos and wanted to make afos pay all the spare parts. afos said they need to pay what they spend from the box cause most of the parts renault sport sent were not necesary and renault sport decided to jive afos and went to court. renault is no more involved in the series and is trying to sue afos everyday. afos saved renault sport buying the old eurocup cars and renault sport is running after them now. dark light unfair. |

The next race will be on 24-26 of October at Okayama Japan, with WTCC Japan round i guess.
The meeting of Chengdu, cancelled, has been replaced by a race at Shanghai on 21-23 of November... racing at Shanghai on November sounds a bit late to me regarding the weather |

OH, so thats why there has been a huge break, thats a shame.
Then who will win the championship? Bamber or Grunwell are the ones i believe will challenge for it, although ebrahim isn't far off, but i believe Grunwell will win it! Go James Grunwell! |

bamber has a alibi. at whatever time the deed took place he won. grunwell made mistakes much and his head is in US. ebrahim is in the best v6 team. Got chance. keep him in memory. but he is screaming at the pace this year.
i gues the harmony of leaders will be caught by the new drivers coming. champ and ct motorsports got drivers. |
