Toccacelo Confirmed as first Super Nova driver!
Enrico Tocccelo is confirmed now as the first of the Super Nova signings! http://tentenths.com/forum/newthread...ead&forumid=26 Excellent news for Super Nova, I think hes defintly going to be in the running for the title this year.

Puntaccelo? The only way he is going to win the title is if he starts on pole every race so there wouldn't be anyone ahead for him to punt. He might win a race or two but he will never win a title if he couldn't keep the damn car on the track.

To be honest, I think ur all being a bit hard on him. In his debut year of F3000 he finished 8th in the Championship got 1 win, and 3 other points finishes. Okay he didnt set the world alight, but thats pretty good to my mind, particular in a debut season.

Yeah, ur right. For some reason in 2001 I didnt notice him. Still a win in your 2nd year of F3000 is pretty good these days, particulary when u consider only 4 other drivers won a race in 2002, ok so hes not the best driver in the world, but I bet he will be better than Monterio was.
The question is now, who will partner him? I doubt Derek Hill as they will want a good solid proven regular race winner, maybe Tocceleo is that person though. Still my money would be on them trying to sign Pantano.. |
