Race car covers
Would someone like to direct me to someone who makes good custom covers for race cars please? I have a fixed head E-type semi-lightweight look. I also have a Crossle Sports racer - like a 9S. Something that is made for the car is the aim. Thanks.

The cover we use for our Escort is from Hamilton Classic - I'm not sure if they do car specific covers though (also got our pop-up gazebo thingy from them - motorsport friendly people ). Website is http://www.hamiltonclassic.co.uk/
Edit: just had a look - they do various car specific covers. |

I have one of these It's not tailor made but it's cheap compared with some of the covers out there. It's got a fleecey lining and is almost totally waterproof, you do get a bit of water coming through after a monsoon downpour but not many covers are 100% waterproof. My race car was outside from last October until now under one of these and although I did have an extra plastic sheet over this one during the winter there's been no signs of moisture getting underneath.

A very quick trawl through the back of C&SC and Octane found these 3 manufacturers advertising-
www.specialisedcovers.com www.classicadditions.com metex car covers www.cardustcovers.co.uk Am pretty sure first two do custom made indoor and outdoor covers as have one (but can't remember from which of the two without looking). Metax believe dust covers only, and not sure if able to custom make. |
