Are we even sure this is for the BTCC and not a BMR Academy driver elsewhere?

That's the grid finished then, so just liveries to be revealed tomorrow - which is just as exciting, if you ask me :P
On another note, the Autosport article mentions that BMR have switched to Swindon engines this year - is that a new bit of news or did it pass me by? |

Is it just an engine change - or have they acquired a fifth Subaru Chassis? I'm wondering whether this 3rd car is actually an additional chassis, based on the previous ownership situation with Subaru UK and the leasing company..... |

Although a good buffing with Autoglym will have the car looking like new... Is it the same boxer engines or the TOCA lump... nobody will tell me, so I am suspicious. Being suspicious doesn't aid the guesswork though! Last edited by Alfisti; 26 Mar 2018 at 12:41. |

Hopefully Price can be more consistent this year. I know we say this every year but this is surely the most competitive grid we've had? Turkington, Collard, Jordan, Plato, Sutton, Neal, Cammish, Hill, Bushell, Thompson, Tordoff, Chilton, Nash, Boardman, Morgan, Moffat, Austin, Ingram, Goff, B. Smith, Smiley, Cook, Proctor I would say could all get wins / podiums this year. |

Price is a good addition to the BMR lineup. There's no need to sign another young driver for a year only and it's good for Price continuity-wise. Last year he had some flashes of speed as well as chances he (for whatever reasons) didn't take so I hope for quite a good season for him.

Mountune probably wanted a customer who paid the bills. Not so much BMR choosing to switch, more Mountune dropping them.

Meh. Seems like a signing just to keep hold of the licence and fill a space. I'm not a fan of the btcc.net putting up all these pr guff stories about team technical partners.

What is it with Price? Why is he a last minute signature again? Glad though the grid is filled, hopefully Price can improve on last season, but the field is so competitive it’ll be hard for anyone to have a consistent season

Price, BMR, Swindon - all of the last minute stuff is down to one thing - money, or a limited amount of it. Price pretty much admits that he was trying for a TCR drive but couldn't get the funds in place.
