If the exhaust is located just behind the front wheels, it should have a great affect on front downforce. Wouldnt it help with speeding up airflow?

I am no technician but don't a lot of high powerd cars use a transaxle at the rear with a propshaft spinning at engine speed?
Is that not an option because of the hybrid systems? |

As far as the hybrid system is concerned, I see no reason why they could not integrate an ERS-K on the rear axle. |

Why, thank you!
But, I'll admit to being completely stumped how to reconcile this driving the rear axles through the gearbox rule with the logical approach of a backwards DW concept being front wheel drive through a transaxle, with electric drive on the rear. I'm eagerly awaiting when we get to find out more about the car. As a designer, I really enjoy clever design solutions! |

If it looks anything like that, I'll be happy. The Panoz was one of the cars which grabbed my interest in sportscars over Formula One and anything which harks back to that is welcomed warmly by me.
I would take that article with a bucket load of salt though. |

Now make sense what Mr. Darren Cox said about Nissan being the "Bad Boy´s"
If this is resemble with the real car… it´s fantastic. Let´s hope the car is fast and reliable too :-) |

It's Jalopnik. Take it with a rather large grain of salt.

It's an artists impression based on the rumours that have been speculated on. It makes sense that it looks a lot like the Panoz because that's the most recent (only?) front-engined LMP. Oh and the addition of the GT-R grill/front end, in a Mercedes CLR that's-not-quite-going-to-fit style.
Even if it doesn't quite match that picture, the GR-T LMP will definitely turn heads! I hope it has the pace to back up the looks... |

No artist did that. That's pitiful.

I usually skip on that site as its mostly bad mouthing 'users' who know little on the automotive industry. It does have some ok content here and there, but definitely reached on this instance.

Absolutely horrendous 'illustration'. It's like I drew that. Thankfully it's just their cheap ploy of getting views to the site

It has a definite train wreck quality though. I can't stop looking at it.
