Well, by '96, an ITC Mercedes supposedly cost 800K US. Right now, I hear the new DTM cars aren't much cheaper to purchase. However, they supposedly are a lot cheaper to maintain.

OTOH, I've heard $500-600K US being thrown around to "purchase or build" one of these cars?
