Compromised should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Yeah nah it's easier to just take the **** out of them mate and then when they finally roll over and die it will be a non issue as the series is just burgeoning with teams who have money to spend and international motorsport connections

More likely that the new shareholders will just become shareholders in the existing company than starting afresh with a new one. If a new company is formed then every contract needs to be redone, which may provide an out for any unhappy campers. Also a company with no trading history will have a lower credit rating. Based on reported losses incurred, may also be some handy tax losses sitting in the existing company, although these may have already been used to offset profits in other parts of the Walkinshaw empire.

True that.
Either way, documentation and detail to be done and getting the logo agreed and in place is one of the early items.

Part of that is having the logo - any presentations to sponsors need the logo, letterheads used for communication with various bodies need the logo, various merch and promotional material will need the logo as a starting point so that designs can get underway. Government agencies often insist that companies provide information on letterhead to prove that it is authentic for example.

Having the logo is most definitely a priority - amongst a long list of prioritised items no doubt but NOT having the logo done would hold up a lengthy list of jobs that need doing.
Tourer,
You are so right>

1st Coy Name - WAU Holding Company

2nd Coy name Walkingshaw Aust - Holding company

3rd Coy Andreti Auto sport Aust - holding company

4th Coy United Auto - Aust holding coy

5th WAU Racing Aust Holding compay (maybe rec holders)

6th WAU Mtorsport Australia - employee company - how staff are paid

maybe a few more, but this is the gist of setting up business in Aust.

Having worked fro three big Australian companys, yes one of the biggest,

If you didnt set up like this , to transfer funds, reduce tax , etc, you would be very silly

cheers

About WAU, is Courtney getting a new car?

James has struggled with both of the repaired chassis (the Tander car and his own repaired car) IIRC, it seems like something is not right, you'd think they'd bring on a fresh uncrashed bodyshell?

This has probably been spoken about before, but does this Tickford announcement/renaming increase the chances or even open the possibilities of there being a Mustang on the grid? Or is it status quo?

I think it's just status quo

Still requires Ford to give the approval to use it, and I don't think a name change is going to increase (or decrease) the liklihood of Ford's decision making in allowing or not allowing a Mustang body shape to be used.

Yes an excellent idea. You could say F1/MotoGP have been "roadtesting" this format for a while and it really does seem to retain entertainment whilst being more practical than the current format

Because with fewer cars on track there are extended periods of no action on track.

Because the entertainment factor lacked with less cars on the track. and tyres played a part also

however this format is different and will only be on the 2 short (permanent) tracks

It's qualifying, does there need to be an entertainment factor?

To me there's more thrill and excitement in a qualy session than most races. Seeing the cars and drivers at their absolute maximum is motorsport at its best.

So wouldn't 26 cars be considered more entertaining than, say, 16, or maybe 10?

What tracks were the 2 day formats being envisaged for?
