Team Tracey-ERC 2008 Round 4 Austria

George and John's next stop is at the fast Greinbach venue in Austria for round 4 of the ERC this weekend. The C4 gearbox has been fixed again by Bardys and both members of the Profile Park team are hoping for Finals this weekend especially George who is on a crest of a wave after his B final in Hungary last Sunday. Updates and pics over the weekend

What has been the problem with the gearbox in the C4? It seems to be the weak link with that car, hopefully it'll hold out.

Motorsportmad.com team going well, George had a slight off track excursion during heat one which cost him so time.

The heavens have opened at Greinbach and its lashing. JMC looks certain to makes Finals but George and the Brits need a serious time in Heat 3 to have any hope of getting in.

Well done to George, John & Derek proud of you all and thanks for the hospitality all weekend. That goes to Nev and Leo too. Hard luck to Kevin & Pat but the finals are not far off just a little luck needed.

Some kind of stock car manoeuvre at the first corner by Kotek, Derek was looking good in second at the time. Well done George, especially in the 3rd heat, McCluskey good day as well.

Yeah, disgrace. No idea why he did it either, no history there. Got Derek completely sideways and then another tap just as he was hanging onto it. Derek had just changed to a different tyre too and was definitely on for his best European result. His day will come though! (as will Kotek's I reckon!)
