It was considered well enough to have a plan drawn up. It just lacked people willing to buy a car capable of lasting, at most, 4 hours of a 24 hour race.
Still if you have a few £££ $$$ I'd race it at Le Mans for you SL |

As seen before, the fastest car does not always win. 24hours is a very long race. A quick reliable 675 has a very good chance.
No problems, steady fast pace might just be enough. Mazda done it as did Rondau. MG showed promise last year. Odd for MG winning ???? SL |
