the youth should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I'm gutted weve lost cadwell, as pete said it's the highlight of our season!

only been to snetterton once and yes after the A1 it seemed to take hours to get there and that was with no trailer on the car, the bumper crowds there for the GT/F3 would be nice tho, plus they would see my talent first hand and sign me to a paid drive in GT lol

would love to get donno instead its' easy to get to for a start and it's a great track to drive

also snett would be good for me all the low geared cars on the limiter for half a mile down the stright while I fly by lol

oh and si, yes my big ship will be lighter meaner and stop quicker this season so will be "sailing" past you

steve

no cadwell bugger ! already had it ticked on the wall planner, snetterton is a nightmare to get to & hope I'm wrong but think the turn out would be poor turnout purly due to its location
.
.
.
.
But the new circuit is really mega love'd it !
only been there once & would give it 9/10
I was one of the ones that thought theyed ruined it but was pleasently suprised
& to support the british GT would be good for the nscc + this would automatically mean your on the full 300 circuit (the only one to be on)
The new infield is quite technical & both the old revvit straight is faster (just cos your entering it much faster) & the start/finish straight is faster becuase the old riches chicane is now a couple of hunderd yard further back

Sounds interesting, I had a go round the old track but wasn't too struck, mind it was snowing! The in-field does look a bit better now and like you say, would be good being with the British GT's.

Still, that journey is awful, would rather do Anglesey if that was offered I think.

I thought it was the nifty sporting saloon car chaps.

From what Chris is saying above, the mini miglia's will be running a cut slick, so similar to a 888 really, probably better for the wet if anything due to the compound.

Now there is a circuit and I think there might be space on an event that would fit with the other dates we already have. Has everyone got the EU flag on their competition licence would not like anyone to miss out. So should the name be changed to "Northern Hemisphere Saloon and Sports Car Championship???????? NHSSCC.

hmm spa would be good. not sure about the licence though. not looked! thought there was talk of a Silverstone meeting this year?? cant we just do another knockhill or croft? we already run an mx5 in a national championship, that's why we do the "northern" saloons as it is local.

Unfortunately there is no other Croft meetings and Knockhill moved the only other one that would have fitted with what we have. We have looked at Donington, Oulton, Anglesey and checked Cadwell dates with nothing that would fit.
The other alternative is to make it a 12 round Championship this year (10 rounds count. That nearly means that do only Croft and possibly win the Championship name change again CSSCC get rid of one "S" and then go tin top racing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Might be up for a bit of testing Dan. What's the costs?

Could do with a proper shakedown. Took the car for a blat last night. It felt proper quick so looking forward to getting it on track. Gotta love having a road legal race car.

don't quote me on this but sure they said £140 for up to 4 cars... if that is the case we can just split the costs. Alan will just be running his new engine in so plenty of laps for him. glad yours is going well. looking forward to some battles this year. been considering sticking the trade plates in our car but not sure it would go down well with the law!

If that's the case then I'm definitely up for that. Not paying £140 though. Not for Teesside!!!

Think you can get a morning there for £40, used it a few times to test bits and bobs, nice and cheap.

apparently they dont do the half day tests any more. shame as they were pretty good value. i will give them a call Monday Dan and see what the crack is. i wouldn't like to pay that either but if we can share the cost it should be good value. dont really want to travel for a track day with a 1 totally untested car and another that needs running in.
