Anglesey - accommodation

Has anyone any suggestions for accommodation in a pub near Anglesey? I'm there for next weekend and not travelling three hours each way each day!

Regards

Jim

We've got a couple of tents going spare if you'd like to buy them - much cheaper than hostelries!

Thanks for the offer Sheila, but I have never really understood how tents worked. I can put them up OK but still fail to understand how they get heated and who supplies the dinner, food, hot bath etc.

Bit like Hoovers, garden forks and irons.

Regards

Jim

What's a Hoover? Is it some kind of foreign car?

Jim,

We always stay at a Farm called Ferram Fwar or something like that!

Heather is the lady who runs the B&B and you get the best breakfast ever.
it's about £18 per night and it's very peaceful!

It's about a mile and a half from the track......the circuit now has bar facilities!!

PM if you want the number!!

Alternatively, there's THE BULL and The VALLEY HOTEL, both in Valley about a fifteen minute drive from the circuit, straight up the A55

Mark

For the Anglesey unaquainted.........

Decent Pubs - Valley
The Bull Hotel or the Valley Hotel, both off the A55 (Second Valley exit)

Provisions for the track (Sandwiches and Pork Pies to you & I)
Again, Valley has a big Spar & a Londis at the crossroads towards Treaddur Bay.

The circuit does have a burger van which is OK and I have been told that there is now a Bar Facility at the track.

If camping at track there is a decent toilet block with fresh water and showers in the block near to school corner!

Do you mean that you spent the whole time under canvas when you stopped at Anglesey last year?

Oh! and I've never gone exploring the camping part of the paddock.

I'm sure it was the Maelog i stayed in before. It was like Faulty Towers complete with Basil himself as the owner. No late bar-steer well clear.
