Marshal Spotter Guide

I'm compiling a collection of marshal overall photos from around the world to create a marshal spotter guide of sorts describing different uniforms used at different tracks.

I've already cross posted this around facebook but I'm sure there's a wealth of information here and folks that don't use social media, so if you can contribute something please do. Especially if it's photos or video screen shots from places other than the UK (already have a good idea of the orange overalls worn throughout the UK).

It's a fun project, with no particular purpose... but like other spotter guides will give you something to look at to kill time.

Absolutely, i think it may actually be quite useful for that.

I was going to narrate a short video clip for my video thing on social media... but it'll be free to use by whomever chooses to use the images. Need to re-do the VFT design as I think I got the sleeves wrong, need better reference photos. But other than that, I think this is the basic layout. Of course I can save each marshal separately also to add to individual pages on 10-10ths.

Malaysia & India where they seem to splurge on Sparco gear (except for Malaysian flaggies/trackies, they wear cheap China-made polyester overalls)




definitely can't generalize that marshals only wear whites or oranges so much color and I'm just getting started.

After 20 years+ I finally bought the two piece overalls - they were too expensive beforehand, but wow, hang the cost.

It is all about going to the loo. "Down, do, up and out". Important when you're a girl and don't want or have the time to manage the full overalls!

So, colour or style may be the thing but ........
