Since it's Sunday afternoon, if any Aussies can tell me who wins the Superbowl it would be much appreciated.

I hear it's SvG. Some all out driving from him here as usually to get the top spot.

I love it. It's white knuckles or flat out straight lining in a beautiful setting. |

what the hell is it with all those well-placed cars dying or getting brutally murdered by their steering parties? (#7 just got executed by its driver, R. Ingall)
add'it: and safety car ... #9? |

and now I know how the "driver's door" in a KTM X-Bow looks like. Thanks #48 for that demonstration.
@fieldofdreams79: the version you've found doesn't include the chase. Still sweet visualization. Mentioning the (caltex) chase (and seeing the (audi) cutting on your map)... IMO the sponsored corners in Bathurst don't sound as awkward as the bubba burger hell's bend kink presented by continental... |

Audi Sport confirm that Frank Stippler injured two ribs in his crash early doors and will stay in hospital overnight. Have to assume that means he's cracked them. Was a hard hit.

SvG wants to spend some extra time in the pit-lane... weaving after the SC leaves.

tic-toc, race control, demonstrate consistency to us!
add'it: awesome of the transmission to visually compare vilander & SvG in both their weaving instances. add'it #2: another T1 victim beached. The #5 - pushed off by the #32.. wait wasn't that one beached before already? |

I concur. german "spanner" = peeping tom. Sounds like a red light district pub. ...
edit: oh wow, seems these weavings were not the same infraction, seems Vilander weaved behind the (lights out) safety car while still being under yellow further up the conrod straight. Now that explains Race control inactivity, and makes a perceived mistake by SvG into well-played racecraft/experience of/in Bathurst |

I did wonder if Vilander had been weaving down Conrod. Makes sense. Once it's green flags and you're the leader you should be able to do what you want in terms of heating the tyres. So no penalty for Gis.

Certainly glad they settled that, I guess. So the SC would've left the field on Conrod, the weaving before the Chase? If so, yes, makes sense.

meanwhile, only 5 cars remain on the lead lap: Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, Nissan, Bentley.
Also it's weird to see Mathias Lauda in an AMG... |
