Roll cage is intact, all panels and bolt on bits that were damaged. A late night but they are confident of being on the grid tomorrow.

was only a few years back we wouldnt have know what was going on withs Fab's cars until the coverage the next morning

Now we get up to date articles , facebook live straight to the car,

So the safety car on lap 23 held up Whincup and McLaughlin just long enough for Van Giz to emerge from the pits in the lead!

Why wasn’t the running order corrected?

Great look at Ludo's work on the DJRTP underbody aero. The exhaust isn't as fancy as expected, looks quite ordinary... Long-tube 4-2-1 with X-pipe, just one muffler for both banks (saves weight?).

I was expecting a flat floor masquerading as "Honest scrutineers, that's a muffler of entirely usual dimensions!".

Mostert Owns His Error

Sounds like he banged it down the box one gear too far, and found neutral, causing the next phase of incidents and accidents.

The mechanical nature of the gearshift allows this to happen... presumably in the proposed flappy paddle solution, the electronics won’t allow that final shift unless the pit kane speed limiter is activated...

It is interesting to see the incar footage of dome drivers, at how aggressive they are at dowmshifts, and how ‘notchy’ some shift mechanisms seem to be compared to others...

Sounds like it... that he down shifted too many times, and went to neutral, at took time for him to select 1st (presumably you need to depress the clutch to help with that)

amazing pass by Chaz on Jason bright on last lap. chaz started the lap 3/4 of a second behind and caught and passed Bright.
