Stunning photos - you've got your slow shutter/panning skills down to a tee. The compositions are nice too. The drifting Cobra is brilliant!

ah, pity. I caught a sequence of a Lotus rolling at le mans and stitched them together into one image. It's quite a fun thing to try...

Andrew, always nice to see more photos from the day, I always end up seeing coverage of Goodwood /s only much much later.
Spent a few minutes going through the indexs, a lovely Alfa lady driver there, Holly something; as usual there were Spits, P-51's and I see you also got the Messerschmidt too...; the Galaxy spontaneously combusting must have been fun for those behind (remember when Alan Jones drove a few years ago, I laughed at his "no brakes" comments (easy for me to laugh, I wasn't driving it!); the Laurel or the Hardy (the skinny one, I always mix them up!) his expression in your shot is very very close to the real one; and while all the various cars are as every year great to see (and for you lot to hear and smell) it is great fun to see your shots of the "period" stuff, I particularly laughed at the road crew guys having a tea break, hadn't seen that little theatre at Goodwood before. cheers |
