Very complicated. The Opel links with Holden cover everything from late 60s until the VE, even the Commodore name!

I heard a story where there was a meeting with Holden dealer principals late last year to decide whether to continue the Holden name or have a combined Opel/Holden banner dependent on the model. Story goes it was a very divided room when it came to a vote.

definately, i think though they are much rarer though

a lot of holden/ ford dealerships have been around for many years.

but then i guess many dealers have adopted other brands

It will still be a rebadged Epsilon II available as the Malibu now. The new Opel Insignia/Buick Regal are due out later this year and I expect the Commodore to be a rebadged version of this, probably built at the Chinese Buick plant.
