It's kind of a 50s-60s circuit now. The first one was a modernised version.

I'm doing one now, that started out as something based off Falkensburg, but now doesn't really resemble it at all.

On the theme of drivers from Holland, here is my latest creation, which i'm damn proud of. I call it: Lammer Raceway. The lighter grey roads are the GP circuit. Anything with an orange border is run off, beige is gravel, grey is high grip tarmac.

Nice track, Pirenzo. Question: the dark grey roads are the old circuit, right? If so, why did you cut off such a large part of the track at the bottom of the picture. I would have tightend (slowed down) some of the corners, much like Albert Park's corners.

And what's the blue line along the straight and the first couple of turns?

No the dark grey lines are the main track. The grey lines are only used for GP cars.
That blue line is the ridiculously long pitlane.

OK, fellas, time for a new challenge. I came up with a fictious area in the Italian Tuscany region. It is set in the 1920s-30s. The three towns in the region have joined forces to organise auto races for the Grand Prix category. It is up to you to come up with a proper circuit using the main roads.

Thick grey lines : main roads
Slim grey lines : minor roads
Yellow lines and number : altitude
Green : grass
Dark green : forest
Light brown/yellow : farm land
Red : town housing
Light blue : river (north-south) and lake

.

20's eh? That means town to town racing! Whoo hoo this is gonna be fun.
Signora Barghi is rudely awoken by Tazio Nuvolari zooming by in his Alfa Romeo!, ahead of Bernd Rosemeyer in the Auto Union. Mussolini is well impressed.

A little funny one, the Zig Zag Zircuit, or just Triple Z...

Special is, that it is all left, right, left, right, never two turns in the same direction :-D

After a bit of a hiatus, I present a new design: the Autodromo Tazio Nuvolari on the Italian Riviera between Genoa and La Spezia. 3.19 miles long, with plenty of dramatic elevation changes. I think you can tell the lay of the land by the corner names.

Hey Fish! Indeed, long time no see. That's quite a realistic track you designed. However, I can't really make up where it's exactly situated. Care to share?

By the way, are you taking up my 20s-30s challenge? I'd like to see your ideas...

that challenge was cool. Very easy though. Just pic a route. But then it's quite hard to spot the best route.
