A third of the Canadian population is in Ontario, so you are going to find that for much of the rest of the country, permanent circuits will have a difficult time being economically viable. In addition to the circuits in Ontario, you have a couple in Michigan, Watkins Glen and Mont Tremblant that aren't too far from Ontario, so there are plenty of choices for Ontario based racers/fans.
4 months? It's fine here form April until October I'd say - not the hottest in April or October, but doable in southern Ontario at least I'd say.

Please refer to the sarcasm smiley in my previous post, or you'll get sent to the National Igloo for a double double.

BUY THIS BOOK!!!!

I just picked it up, and can't place it down. I know, I have no life.
It's basically the best thing there is on Canadian sports car racing, and road racing in general. Covers everything, from why there are so few tracks, and what happened to some of the former tracks that once were built. Covers why we don't have many "professional" racers, and so much more its not even funny.

Writier races an ITC Civic down at AMP in Nova Scotia.
