Scott Malvern would love to be doing it and given his result at the Silverstone UK National rounds in June would likely be a contender but unfortunately he does not have the budget!

kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
All the info is here:

http://www.hscc.org.uk/calendar.html

No finals etc being posted apparently due to postal strike.

Has anyone received any tickets yet? we haven't seen anything yet. I guess tomorrow is the last chance. Is there any arrangements for getting in without tickets if they are lurking somewhere in a postal depot?

Here's what I got in my inbox (sure they won't mind if I post it up here):

Dear Competitor

Many thanks for entering the Walter Hayes Trophy Meeting. As you are aware there are problems with Postal Deliveries throughout the UK, due to Industrial Action. So we will not be posting passes and instructions to you for the Walter Hayes Meeting.

Below are the alternative instructions for this meeting:-

All competitors testing either Thursday or Friday will be given their tickets when they sign in for testing on 1st Floor of Race Admin.

Competitors arriving on Race day there will be a ticket collection booth in Car Park 49, which will be open from 7.00am each day. Car Park 49 is on the left as you enter the circuit from West 5 entrance (the main competitor entrance).

Attached are Testing Timetable, Final Instructions, Entry List (which includes a timetable) and for Walter Hayes Competitors there is a Heat Draw and Garage Plan

Our apologies for the inconvenience and we hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Regards

I have not entered the supports this year I thought last year was a disappointment mixing saloons and road sports in with Chevrons etc. When I went in 2006 there was a much better balance of cars.

Heat Qualifying

Hi gang,

Was wondering if anyone has the qualifying results for the Heats from this morning. Would like to know who got the poles and how the Americans (De Phillippi, Smrz, Newgarden and Prendeville) did.

Cheers,

Al.
