Egg [VASC16R10R11] Woodstock SuperSprint, Winton - 20-22May

8 winners, 9 races.... WOW!!!

Time to head to sunny Winton, test track to the Victorian teams..

Has PRA found its magic wand, or will 888 go back to their 1-2-3 masterplan?

Can Nissan win here without jungle juice?

Will BJR find some long lost form at their home track?

Can Erebus get a win here?

Will DJRTP enjoy running their marathon around the clothes line?

Can LDM recreate their Clipsal strategy plays?

Can we get 10 winners out of 11 races??

Only 2 weeks to find out...

You mean BJR are still racing?

They have barely been sighted this year.

great product . Australian owned and made.

I wondered if they would get a run after being on the rear wing all year

The one thing I like about the DJRTP liveries is that the naming rights sponsor really stands out against the design.

I was at Winton today and (believe or not) the infield is pretty wet, it might dry a bit by the weekend. The new track surface is very grippy and they have opened up the left hand corner into the new section of track (can we still call it that?) and the last corner, but it is quite abrasive. As rubber goes down no doubt that will improve.

Should be interesting.

As a Holden guy I love the thought of this however he did loose his spark in the series along with MS. Good Luck Murph

As an aside, I always thought Murph was notoriously bad at providing feedback and setting up a car?

Wonder if the success of this will naturally phase out the SC in favour of a FCY system. It won't do much to improve the spectacle but it will make it safer for the marshals.

The other benefit of a FCY system is a reduction in double stacking in the pits.

I would bet the house of Supercars not getting rid of the "stack up" under any safety car system.

"Fans" complained enough last year that the Bathurst ending wasn't exciting enough, imagine if someone cruised home by 20 seconds?

entertaining race. The move to ,onger staurday races is a winner in my opinion

JC yanked the rookies chain, had room to the inside expecting a penalty

Was a pretty clear cut racing incident imo, JC was up far enough and waters had limited vision, end of.

Pretty boring race, the new surface didn't do the spectacle many favours so was mostly follow the leader most of the way. Hope tomorrow offers more.

Entertaining or boring? Which one was it?

Unfortunately my ever unreliable Samsung HD recorder failed to record the highlights on both TEN and One so I can't shed any light on it.
