Cheque's even worse. Can't get one of those either. Money Order though would be nice but from what I read it's only cheque or Plastic.

Two easy solutions come to mind.

Get a mate who has a credit card to subscribe for you, and give him the $55.

Or

Get a VISA Debit Card - looks and acts like a creditcard, but linked directly to your account so you can only spend what you actually have (just like EFTPOS, but you can use it online)

Or you can get pre-paid $50 and $100 dollar VISA cards at 7-Eleven. They work just like those gift cards they have now in the stores. But unlike the gift cards, you can use them online and in-store.

Will be interesting to see who partners JC, and who will replace him. Goodluck to JC and DJR next year.

Did read ( I think it may have been in AA) that SBR aren't giving too much away until 1/1/09 on who will replace JC.
If there was a driver swap between the two teams, will SBR make an annoucement before this date?

I have no idea if any of this is true, but if it is - and with all due respect to DJR - why would someone choose to move from a factory team to a non factory team?

Was it a push, due to simply a driver swap?

As weird as this may sound from as dedicated a Holden man as myself, I think I would actually find it easier to support Ambrose in the Ford (and I do) than I would if he were in a Toyota.

Haha yes but it's a V8 camry! They don't actually exist, so that equals it out a bit!

A cardigan wearing beigist car with a small block V8 - oh the hilarity

its fine on my computer, must be you! Good to see theyve given Bathurst 12Hrs priority in a week when there is no real V8 news. Looks like a great entry, could be a good race. Intresting about Campbell Little, they seem v positive about him as V8 Technical director.

What i want to know is, who is Matt Treacy? and what does he do with all his duplicated letter of the week prizes, he must get one at least every month, and every other week he has a letter published...

It is becoming interesting, axeman.

Maybe no one else writes? Or has he done a deal to let his voice be heard as he plots a successor series to V8 Supercar? Or is he grooming himself to take over from TC or Cameron?

He seems to have some good ideas and may just recall him lurking around here in a few threads in the past.

sorry to avoid any confusion after re-reading my post, i didn't mean that to read his "duplicated letters", i mean his prizes must be duplicated...

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.
