JUNE 8/9 Donington Vintage & Historic Car Weekend
Any idea what it is Tim, cos i'm free that weekend... if it's anything interesting I might be tempted along...

I've been hunting all over for information about this, but as the VSCC website is down I'm rather stuck.
I'm assuming that it's the Seaman Historic Trophy meeting - the one you came to the Saturday of last year to check out the Auto Unions. Seems just a tad late in the year though. The VSCC usually visit Donington during May. I'll keep hunting. |

You're right Tim, June 8/9th is the Flockhart and Seaman Trophies Race Meeting. Three weeks later than last season (20th May) - am looking forward to it!

British Empire Vintage and Historic Race Weekend VSCC 8/9 June 2002 Lola only race on Sat (T70s) Lola demos from 1958 - present day (including Champ Cars) Bentley Motors / Bentley Drivers Club 12 lap pre-war race on Sun Launch of MINI Cooper S - Paddy Hopkirk driving 80's Group C race Richard Seaman Trophy - vintage/pre-war Historic GP Assoc pre-66 rear engined GP cars HGPCA pre-61 front engined GP cars HGPCA 50's drum braked Sports Cars Gentleman Drivers evening endurance race (pre 62 sports/ pre 65 GT) 2-day team race for pre-war sports cars 'Party in the Park' Sat night as tribute to Tom Wheatcroft (80th birthday), held at GP Collection, Murray Walker as guest of honour. Tim/Craig I'll bring the original on Sat if you want it. |
