Gerben24 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Aparently FB Corse had a bike on show in Valencia. There were rumours they might do 3 races in 2010, with John Hopkins on board.

Here's some old info on the bike:

I don't know how many GP Beemers were made but of the two I saw being tested at Almeria one got binned pretty comprehensively by ( I think ) Jeremy Mcwilliams.
Although at the time they seemed to be on the pace things have moved on a fair bit, but with enough money and development thrown at it who knows !

I think McWilliams lost a finger in that binnage.

So are they something to do with Bertocchi Racing, the WSBK team?

We may all be jumping to conclusions as I don't know if this was one of BMWs engines
However there are not too many 3 pot lumps about in Moto GP.

Moto 2 will be testing at Valencia tomorrow and Thursday. Interesting comments from Herve Poncharal about reading too much into lap times. Apparently some teams are using engines that run on pump gas and have a few less bits, while other teams are using full blown supersport motors on race gas. Should be interesting either way though.

Moto2 silly season may be a more fruitful line of enquiry given the paucity of Moto GP seats available. Looks like quite a few rides already sorted, glad to see Yuki Takahashis got a ride. Expect to se Gabor Talmasci in there and many more Moto GP rejects, for want of a better term.

I have not found out much about who is at the test and what the times are, but Motogp.com says that Simon's fastest lap was a 1:37.91. For comparison, Kenan Sofuoglu had the best supersport time at 1:36.1.

Can we speculate that quick riders in World Supersport would also be quick in Moto 2?

The Ducati GP10 was shown off today at their annual Wroom event. Very nice looking bike indeed. I like it! And you gotta love that Nicky Hayden got a hand slap for releasing a cell phone pic of the bike earlier this year on his website...

If you're Winona Ryder hiding behind a pseudonym, the answer = JA!

Otherwise, I think this year will not be the year I fulfill the dream...

Ok Aussies, you can't keep telling me I'm anti Casey Stoner. My new helmet just arrived! All I need now is a Hayden lid.

Me too! Gave me a little scare. Made me realise though that Anthony is too old now to make a comeback.

McCoy signs for FB Corse for two years after getting the shaft from Triumph. So he'll run a limited schedule for them. I wonder if the bike exists yet?

It doesn't. Was offered to Hopper, and he signed with Ulrich instead. He'll be running at the very back of the field with that piece of crap if indeed it every gets done. Not a good career move.
