This is good news. I didn't think Dan would be in luck this season, and Tim is a talented and experienced racer who could be a good Indie cup shot and may be the best candidate to beat Vauxhall and MG.

10 years since Harvey won the championship and he has the same number in 2002 as he did in 1992 = #8.

Great news to see the peugs back, with two divers who are there for talent. I was hopeing that the team would give a Touring debut to Toni Ruokonen as he drove so well for them in 99 and 2000.
I have high expectectations for Dan this year, I feel he could be the indie champion. |

Fantastic news for BTCC again-I hope VLR can make them more competitive than last year and mount a serious challenge for the Indie cup.

Judging by the articles that are around on the Btcc sites, the team are serious about being contenders this year. the discussion wasn't about looking for points, it was about winning. i know the cars were, well, how shall i put it? 'uncompetative' last season, but, i've got a feeling that old Vic's got an ace up his sleeves with these cars.

Hope they can turn it around. Personally, I'm not overly optimistic myself; not only did they find it hard to get the cars up to speed with works backing, but ol' Vic was talking about running a couple of Lexi towards the back end of last year, which says what they thought of the 406 then...
...but hey, Ferrari caused a few blushes with last year's F1 challenger last weekend, so maybe Vic can do the same with last years Pug. Good luck to him anyway - the more cars the merrier! |

The Pug's came on well at the end of last year - lets hope they can keep up their form!

A good sponsor can put in more cash than a half arsed manufacturer.

According to today's Autosport magazine, VLR's primary sponsor is Halfords. We'll have to wait until the Media Day to see for sure.

I think they'll do well this year. The fact that Vic Lee kept this year's program under wraps for so long means he has something special planned (IMHO!)

Looks like Dan will finally get the Halfords sponsorship he was supposed to have when he was in Fiestas.
