Car Recordings

Hi,

Is there anyone who would grant me access to record their 'F1 of old' cars.
If you're not an owner maybe you know someone that is & can put me in touch with them?
I'm hoping to record an Alfa 158, Lotus '72, Lotus '49, '96 Renault Williams, Cooper Climax, FW08. If not one of these cars one with the same engine would be great.
I am available to record anytime but preferably at a circuit or proving ground.

I can be contacted by PM.

Thanks for reading,

Mike dB

Ps Sorry for the cross forums posts, I wasn't sure where to post.

Grand Prix Masters have Lotus 72's and a 49 competing - try

there are a number of Cooper Climaxes in HGPCA

Try TGP for an FW08. The Alfa and Williams Renault might be more of a challenge.

You are probably better off contacting owners of the cars direct - not everyone reads ten-tenths!

Thank you for that information Alan. I'm going to Oulton Park on Friday/Saturday now, I hope the owners & circuit will let me put recording equipment in.

I'd like to speak with the owner's directly, but I'm not sure on how I can get their information.

Thanks,

Mike dB

As far as the GP Masters car are concerned, try ringing Rachel Bailey on 01908-587545. She may be able to give you contact details of the owners. I couldn't find contact details for HGPCA after a cursory scan of their website, but have a look yourself, I think you'll find them a friendly bunch.
